Questions on Boundaries Bill and Community Policing to open tomorrow’s Parl sitting

The National Parliament House

Parliament sitting continues tomorrow after it was resumed today, with questions on the Electoral Boundaries Bill and Community Policing set out in the order paper.

The DCC Government in its policy plans to re-table the Electoral Boundaries Bill.

In the order paper set out for the Parliamentary Q&A session to open the sitting, Leader of the Independent Group Dr Derek Sikua will ask the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs to inform Parliament of when the Electoral Boundaries Bill will be re-tabled.

Another question set out for the opening Q&A portion of the sitting tomorrow is in relation to how the community policing and crime prevention model is relevant to SI, recognizes traditional systems and work in partnership with all levels of the community.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Police, National security and Correctional Services are expected to provide answers on the above issues.

The 2017 Supplementary Appropriation Bill 2017 will then be debated.
