Search on in Suva for first year student

A Solomon Islands student studying at the University of South Pacific’s Laucala campus in Fiji is missing according to reports from USP, Fiji students.

A student reports to Solomon Fresh-Beat Online Lloyed Maepeza is a first year student who is doing a Bachelor Degree in Marine Science at the institution.

“We were told he was last seen on Saturday at a Suva Park but has not returned since,” the student says.

The Solomon Islands Student Association (SISA) President Walter Waneoroa has posted a notice on the students’ forum at the request of the missing student’s parent.

The reports from Fiji says the missing student went to spend the night with his father Dr Transform Aqorau and left early on Saturday morning.

The reports state that Solomon Islands students and some members of the Solomon Islands community there are actively searching.

Fiji police and USP security have been notified of the incident.
