POLICE has concluded its investigation into the death case that occurred at Tasahe area in West Honiara early this month and confirmed it’s evident suicide.
Commissioner of Police Mathew Varley told local Journalist in a Press Conference, Thursday 13th July.
“RSIPF has finalised its inquiry into the suicide case and found that there’s no suspicious circumstances in relation to the death.
“The family of the deceased male had been working with the police on this case and satisfied with the conclusion of the investigation that the cause of death is suicide.
“The case now is referred in a report to the coroner for review and evaluation and should there be any further requirement from the Coroner then the police can assist further.
“But at this point in time police investigation has concluded that there are no suspicious circumstances around that death,” Mr Varley said.
The Police boss thanked the family of the deceased for their cooperation through the course of the investigation.
